Jeffrey (J.D.) Fillmore 

Lead Pastor

Jeff has served in a senior pastor role since the age of 24, and has been the lead pastor at NorthSide since 1992. He first met Donna in 1973 while they were students and they have been married since 1974. Jeff received his Bachelor of Arts in Bible from Central Bible College and was ordained with the Assemblies of God in 1983.

In addition to his pastoral role at NorthSide, Jeff is also a member of the Mississippi Teen Challenge Board of Directors and volunteers as a mentor for many young ministers and those seeking credentials with the Assemblies. One of his favorite things to do is to serve as an instructor for the MS District School of Ministry, which he has had the opportunity to do since 2010.

Jeff spends much of his free time either at Northside or involved with a NorthSide activity. He loves what he does, and would just as soon be involved with a NorthSide ministry as anything else he could think of. Jeff is an avid reader; when he does have time away from the church, at any given time he will have two or three different books he’s going through.

Jose’ Greene

Associate Pastor / Student Ministries Coordinator

José received his call to ministry while serving in the US Air Force. After leaving the military, he and his wife Lisa, along with their four children (Kayla, Ambrelyn, Gavin, and Dylan) moved to Mississippi where José has served as a minister on staff at NorthSide since 2009. In route to his ordination with the Assemblies of God, José attended the MS District School of Ministry, as well as the Berean School of the Bible (through Global University).

Outside of church activities, José officiates youth sports in the community. During his free time, José relishes spending as much time as he can with his family, which now includes two sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law, and six grandchildren. He also enjoys watching sports. José’s favorite quote – which he often shares with the students of Northside – comes from Bill Hybels: “I’ve always been able to make time for what I value.”

Office Administrator

Barbara is a lifelong resident of MS. She was saved at NorthSide in 2001 where she quickly became an integral part of her new-found church family. Barbara is actively involved in ministry at NorthSide, and is the director of our Women’s Ministry. She also serves as the MS District Section 11 Women’s Ministry representative.
